Workshop – The Hidden Past of Forests

On October 4, 2025, the Société d’histoire et d’archéologie du Témiscouata presented a workshop exploring the hidden past of forests as part of Forest Day at the Beaulieu culturel.
Participants discovered archaeological and historical insights related to Témiscouata’s forests, as well as multidisciplinary techniques used to study the diet of past populations around the world.
The workshop highlighted the importance of natural and historical heritage in understanding both regional and global history.
