What is the Musée du Témiscouata?
The Musée du Témiscouata is a place of memory dedicated to regional history and the richness of its ethnological and cultural heritage. Located in the heart of the Beaulieu culturel, a vibrant space that brings together a music school, a library, and a performance hall, the Museum is part of a dynamic environment where heritage, culture, and creativity meet.
Open primarily during the summer, the Museum presents 2 to 3 original exhibitions each year, along with activities, workshops, events, and interpretive programming related to its mission and collections. The Museum also welcomes school groups and organized groups by reservation the rest of the year, offering enriching educational experiences year-round.
As a place of discovery and knowledge-sharing, the Musée du Témiscouata invites visitors to explore local history from a new perspective and better understand the legacies that shape the region.
