  • Discovery Workshop – Materials of the Past, Gestures of Today

    In the summer of 2025, the Musée du Témiscouata presented a discovery workshop led by artist and educator Claudine Cousineau as part of the exhibition "Effervescence Terrestre". This workshop offered an immersive experience in traditional techniques for making natural pigments and paints, allowing participants to connect ancient know-how with contemporary practice.

  • Closing Event – Effervescence Terrestre Exhibition

    On August 31, 2025, the Musée du Témiscouata hosted the closing reception for Claudine Cousineau’s exhibition "Effervescence Terrestre". The exhibition featured a body of work created using handmade natural materials, exploring mineral and organic pigments passed down through the ages and connecting cultural heritage with contemporary practices.

  • Workshop – The Hidden Past of Forests

    On October 4, 2025, the Société d’histoire et d’archéologie du Témiscouata presented a workshop exploring the hidden past of forests as part of Forest Day at the Beaulieu culturel.

  • Tell Me a Legend – Community Consultations

    On December 9, 15, and 16, 2025, and January 19, 2026, the ociété d’histoire et d’archéologie du Témiscouata, in collaboration with the MRC de Témiscouata and Tourisme Bas-Saint-Laurent, organized several public consultations as part of the regional project “Tell Me a Legend.”
